Yesterday's lecture was interesting in regards to "Griefing". I didn't even know what griefing was until we had the lecture. As I have been a spectator of gaming in my gaming experience or non-gaming experience. I usually watch either my partner or brothers play games like Modern Warfare or other shooting games. I didn't realize that putting someone off or annoying another player with unnecessary tactics was considered griefing which is something new to my knowledge of video games.
Watching the Team fortress 2 made me realize that my partner and his online friends do this a lot and I wondered why he kept on using foul language when playing. I find that most newbies that enter games use griefing as a way of winning battles or gamers that have played for months do this to annoy new gamers.
